Madness hides in the shadows...

       Reigo is the son of Tiorné, a merchant respected for her just and unbiased practices. Her spaceship the Nimrod is staffed by a motley crew chosen for their abilities rather than their Blood or histories. When a man infected with an unknown disease requests sanctuary aboard the Nimrod, so that he might die free from persecution, Tiorné obliges. Soon the Nimrod’s crew begin to act strangely and lose their inhibitions, and it becomes apparent they have all been exposed to the plague. Reigo finds himself heading a mutiny against his mother as the crew struggle for their lives. How can anyone fight a disease that infects the mind as it does the body, and that promises salvation and eternal life to its sufferers?
